My first love has always been the written word. As a successful writer, I help people tell their story – whether it’s business or personal. But photography has always been a close second, and inextricably linked to my story-telling philosophy.

I’m relatively new to professional photography – but I’m growing and learning new techniques everyday.

By and large, I prefer a photojournalistic style, capturing people in their everyday lives. I don’t have a studio and most sessions take place outdoors or in people’s homes. It is so much easier to get at the heart of person’s story if you start where they live, letting them relax and let go of overly-posed moments.
